The linkage of the university with the productive sectors and private and public services is strategic, because they are primary sources of research needs. This can be achieved by generating a very close relationship based on mutual benefits, from joint work that allows the necessary trust to promote useful research to the demanding sectors. With UNI's new Institutional Educational Model, it is essential to redefine our relations with the aforementioned sectors, according to the aforementioned logic. But we definitely need to define an institutional policy on research in the institution, as well as to efficiently disseminate to those who should know the progress and final results of these investigations, through media that have the required coverage.
